HSE Health App officially launched

The HSE Health App is a free and secure application designed to help individuals in Ireland manage their health information and access health services. Launched in February 2025, it aims to be a digital gateway for patients to engage with the health service.

Key features of the app include:

  • Personal Health Information: Users can view their hospital appointments (initially for maternity patients), keep a list of their medicines, and see digital versions of health cards like the medical card, EHIC, and other scheme cards.
  • Vaccination Records: Access to COVID-19 and flu vaccination records from 2021 onwards.
  • Service Information: Find information on health conditions, treatments, medicines, and locate nearby HSE services such as GPs and emergency care.
  • Secure Access: The app requires a verified MyGovID for full access to personal health information, ensuring data security and privacy. Some features are available without logging in.

Future updates are planned to include more hospital and screening appointment information, notifications, referral and waiting time details, and self-care support services.
